At Coolibah Kids, we provide a warm and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and explore.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children thrive in spaces that are inclusive, engaging, and supportive of their individual needs and developmental stages.
We are committed to offering a play-based learning approach that emphasises outdoor play, community engagement, and the holistic development of every child.
Our Values
Inclusivity
We celebrate diversity and ensure that all children, regardless of background, ability, or family structure, feel welcome, valued, and respected. We embrace each child's unique qualities and encourage a sense of belonging.
Play-Based Learning
Play is the foundation of all learning at Coolibah Kids. Through hands-on activities, imaginative play, and exploration, children develop critical thinking, social skills, and creativity. Play encourages independence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Community
By fostering relationships between children, families, and staff, we create a collaborative environment where everyone feels supported. We work closely with parents to ensure we meet the unique needs of every child.
Social & Cognitive Development
Our programs are designed to support the growth of both social and cognitive skills. Through group play, collaborative activities, and guided learning, children develop language, problem-solving abilities, emotional intelligence, and the confidence to interact with others.
Our Rooms
-

Babies
4 months - 2 years
The Baby Room is a cozy, secure space where your infant or toddler can begin their early learning journey. Our caregivers provide gentle, responsive care that focuses on building trust and emotional security, while introducing sensory experiences and language development through play. Activities are designed to engage curiosity, motor skills, and early social interactions.
-

Toddlers
2 - 3 years
In the Toddler Room, children are encouraged to explore their world through hands-on experiences, building both independence and social skills. Our educators guide toddlers in activities that promote language acquisition, problem-solving, and cooperation. We place a strong emphasis on fostering emotional regulation and helping toddlers express themselves through creative play, stories, and music.
-

Pre-School
3 - 5 years
The Pre-School Room is designed to prepare children for the next step in their educational journey. Through engaging activities focused on early literacy, numeracy, and social development, we encourage children to ask questions, express their thoughts, and collaborate with peers. Our approach helps build the foundations for school readiness, fostering self-confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
